Angie Girard

MSN-Ed, RN, RAC-CT

Ms. Girard is a registered nurse with master’s degree in Nursing Education.  She has been part of the nursing home industry for over 25 years, serving twelve years as a Director of Nursing. Her focus is to ensure regulatory compliance by developing and implementing education for long term care professionals and frontline staff.

She is also an adjunct professor at Montcalm Community College where she teaches laboratory and clinical for nursing foundation. As a certified Resident Assessment Coordinator, Angela can provide training and assistance on the accuracy and completion of the Minimum Data Set. She has also completed the Nursing Home Infection Preventionist Training Course. In support of improving patient care and outcome, Ms. Girard received certification from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement in Patient Safety, Leadership, Person and Family-Centered Care and Triple AIM for Populations
