Joseph F. Petros III

Joe Petros is a partner with Rolf Martin Lang LLP and works with health care providers in litigation, disputes, appeals, transactional, and regulatory matters. His practice includes commercial litigation, employment litigation, government investigations, False Claims Act (FCA)/qui tam litigation, Certificate of Need (CON) appeals, and related administrative proceedings.

Joe has appeared before federal courts in Ohio and Michigan and before numerous state courts and administrative agencies throughout Ohio. He advocates for providers in contested matters and assists clients in navigating disputes involving governmental agencies, payors, employees, contracting parties, and other stakeholders.

Joe also works as part of the firm’s transactional team on health care business matters, including acquisitions, divestitures, contracting issues, regulatory approvals, and diligence. His litigation background gives him a practical perspective on risk allocation, dispute avoidance, and the operational issues that can affect health care transactions.

Joe joined the firm in 2014.
