Brendan Richard is an attorney with Rolf Martin Lang LLP.

Before earning his law degree, Brendan spent a decade as a licensed Physical Therapist in nursing homes, gaining firsthand insight into the operational and care delivery challenges faced by healthcare providers. This experience equips him with a practical understanding that informs his legal strategies.

Since transitioning to law, Brendan has focused on defending skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) and other healthcare providers against lawsuits. He works closely with insurance companies, outside counsel, and co-counsel to manage complex insurance defense cases and develop proactive solutions that mitigate operational risks.

As a member of our Risk Management Team, Brendan helps healthcare organizations navigate operational and legal challenges with precision and efficiency. His combined expertise in healthcare and law makes him uniquely qualified to support providers in addressing risk while protecting their mission of care.
