Notices of New Rates: Consider Sending Before 11/28

The new SNF Requirements of Participation require at least sixty (60) days’ notice prior to raising rates. For SNFs who are planning a calendar year 2017 rate increase that starts January 1, 2017, the notice of rate increase would need to be sent prior to November 28, 2016. After that date, the 60-day rule will be in effect.
