Michele Conroy will be presenting a seminar at The LeadingAge Ohio 2019Annual Conference entitled SNF Survey and Enforcement: The Landscape Changes Yet Again! on August 28, 2019 at 1:00 pm.
The new Guidance to the Requirements of Participation (RoP) and new survey process, as well as recent changes to Chapter 7 of the State Operations Manual (SOM) and the CMP Tool, significantly changed the landscape of the survey and enforcement process for long-term care facilities. As providers are still in the process of implementing Phase 3 of the RoPs, CMS has changed the landscape yet again by proposing additional changes to the RoPs and Appendix Q. This session will highlight how these proposed are expected to affect providers. Expected survey and enforcement changes on the horizon will also be discussed.
